-- A short story -- Here then is a fool proof game plan for all ye with Trump Derangement Syndrome! Slam Dunk and no more worries! Our story starts with the creation and release of a horrible corona virus, Sars-cov-2, AKA covid19, AKA CCP virus, AKA Wuhan Flu. The horrible death dealing germs, invented by Slouchy in spite of being advised against it, and done with US Taxpayers money, offshore at Wuhan to get around prohibition of development in the USA, spread quickly and was quickly "combatted" with draconian measures including masks, lock downs, shut downs, etc, all fomented by a gleeful mainstream media with a new story to help them sell soap. Of course one should never let a good crisis go to waste, according to Commie/Dim operative Rahm Emmanuel. So entering the scene we have the arsonist Slouchy himself with daily appearances, plus corrupt government FDA and CDC, plus of course several Big Pharma Giants with snake oil to peddle. This collective of Bad Actors prevailed upon a great and very well meaning President Trump, to help them concoct a solution to the CCP virus crisis, in the form of mRNA snake oil. A product that they have yearned for years to make money from. They convince the President that their product will be very effective, with few mild side effects. They convince him to get behind their plan to develop, reproduce, and market their Snake Oil potion without any the normal safeguards practiced for every other pharmaceutical product. In other words, make it possible for them to introduce said Snake Oil at Warp Speed. Being focused on the welfare of all Americans, President Trump swallows it and Big Pharma goes nuts. Add mainstream fellow travelers, to continuously stir up more and newer fears of the manufactured CCP Virus, and we have a huge number of people who get sold on how wonderful Covid so-called "vaccines" are. But you cannot fool all the people all the time! The media also continuously worked to silence any and all mention of alternative treatments for the dreaded virus. Various products such as hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin and budesonide have been shown to be useful, but MSM buried all stories so the concensus would be that nothing else could help, save newly developed so-called vaccines. If other treatments were available, the Emergency Use Authorization could not be granted for the Untested, Unproven, Experimental mRNA products. Millions lined up to take the Experimental jabs, feared by some to be dangerous. Time would tell... Indeed time has told! The vaccines "rarely" result in various side effects up to and including DEATH. Even healthy athletes fall over DEAD. On top of the side effects, we have admission that the jabs do not prevent victims from getting or from spreading CCP-virus. Getting "covid" after being "fully vaccinated" is called "Breakthru" which is supposedly rare. Now it becomes apparent that the big pharma vaccines do more harm than good. VAERS database is over flowing with adverse reactions to the snake oil, more than the sum of all vaccines in the history of government VAERS data! These are far worse than Thalidomide! So how does this work with President Trump? He is fully invested as the champion who got 'er dun, a monumental achievement that was believed to be beneficial, but in hind sight is garbage. Trump was snookered by corrupt government bureau rats and Big Pharma, and has thus far failed to realize and admit the terrible truth! Then, you say, how can we use this to Bury President Trump? Simple! Fold the Covid House of Cards! Declare that Covid is with us, but there are known treatments that are cheap and effective. Declare that all the so-called vaccines are dangerous and are hereby withdrawn from the market as dangerous and ineffective. Then, with the Covid scam folded and Big Pharma licking their chops, you scream the TRUTH for a change, and you rightfully blame the whole mess on President Trump. If you do that before Mr Trump renounces the covid scam, he will be done with public service! Touché!
What a Story
Arrogance! That is what it is all about. Companies that treat customers like dirt. Here we tell about some we have encountered. It seems that the behaviour is rife in the cellular phone industry but there are lots more...

How to Bury President Trump

Wal-mart slow, slow, slow!
Here then is how it went with tire-buying on Black Saturday, 24 Nov 2018!
First, we go in on Friday to see if they had what I wanted.
Yes, says the Walmart employee. I ask when is a good time to do this?
He advises there is no good time, but I must do it this week end if I want the wonderful price. That is $20 off per tire (Goodyear Assurance) plus some crazy low price for mounting and balancing. Grand total a couple hundred less than big name tire store. Not too shabby at all.
Now we get up in middle of night and go see Sun Rise at Wal-mart. Arrive before opening and find 3 cars in line ahead of me. Wait it out, and a few minutes after 7 AM they start checking cars in. 10 to 15 minutes each just to check in! After I get checked in I ask how long and he says probably about 2 hours. Ouch.
Go on in and drink some free coffee, send it down the river, and wait. Two hours or so later I check and learn I am next on list but it is not ready. They did have car in the bay and wheels off. Take a cold tater and wait.
Finally, a few minutes after 11, it is ready! Over 4 hours time wasted in this place!
So, we wonder, presuming all 3 in front of me bought tires, they are able to install ONE set of tires an hour! Why would this be?
All I can figure is it was planned that way. Offer was a screaming loss leader and they were told to behave that way so fewer sets of tires would be sold before the BF prices went away. Not sure I would do it again, but am pleased with the purchase.

OnePlus X Toyota-incompatible Android Phone!
So-called "flagship killer" less than flagship quality
Chinese maker oneplus.net builds so-called "Flagship Killer" Androidphones. As of this writing the models are OnePlus One, Oneplus 2, and
OnePlus X. Generally expensive, over $300, these phones claim to have
features similar to the latest iPhone (6 series) and Samsung Galaxy
phones, all of which cost twice the money.
Now as of late 2015, the company offers a phone called OnePlus X. The
attractiveness of the X is the lower price ($250) and smaller than
big-slab design of the One and 2 models. This I find desirable as I am
not going to carry something that is too darned big for a pocket.
After putting in a request for an "invitation" to buy, in not too many
days the company did issue an invitation. Then after making the
purchase, the OPX did arrive after not too many days, all the way from
China.
Numerous articles are out there telling about the features of OnePLus X,
and how it provides "weak" LTE support, lacking Band 17 which is widely
used by AT&T. I do use AT&T with the phone and do get LTE coverage, but
guess that it may not be optimum. Since I do little video streaming, I
do not find this to be a fatal flaw, at least not for me.
For me, the broken Bluetooth is the real stinker. I have a new Camry
(only the most popular car in the USA) and a fairly new Tundra. Both
come with factory issued "Entune" radios. Not the most fancy, but still
very usable. Both allow up to 5 phones to be paired, and I have
successfully used other Android phones as well as iPhone4 and iPhone5,
Blackberry Bold and Classic, and even Nokia Lumia 630 windoze phone.
These are all fine with both Toyota radios.
Back to the phone book issue -- OPX fails to deliver vcards*.vcf file to
the car radio. Working with CS via email support got the usual banter
such as "tell us your Android version" going in. Then at Level 2 we got
a request to nuke the phone as a "troubleshooting" step: Press and hold
the volume down and Power button. Then Wipe data and cache.
Wiping data and cache takes your phone to plain blank factory-issued
state. You are starting from zero and it will be a while before you get
back, presuming you have backed up contacts etc. Now we go and try it
with fresh pairing for first car radio and it works!
Only problem left: Now try to pair it with second car radio and it
fails! CS solution: Info forwarded to ROM department so that they will
add that to our future updates.
What we do not have is any confirmation that OnePlus has replicated the
issue. We have even less confidence that new firmware will fix the
issue, and absolutely no idea of when to expect it.
Conclusion: If you have more than one Toyota, Never Settle for a
OnePlus X! It is more trouble than it is worth. If it gets fixed
before summer of 2016, I look forward to updating this article.

Sodastream and other Carbonation devices
Sodastream is the big dog in alternative carbonation. Make your own soda out of plain water. Save money and save packaging. All true, and I would not call Sodastream a ripoff or say their customer service is no good. It is however a product from Israel. Not surprisingly, the cost of owning and operating Sodastream is as high as the company thinks they can get away with and keep moving product.
Several facets of Sodastream make it expensive and/or difficult to work around. Official gas bottles (called "carbonator" in Sodastream Speak) have proprietary fittings and anti-fill valves. The bottles are also licensed, not sold, even though the cost to get one in your hands exceeds the cost of outright buying a non-proprietary bottle. The cost of exchanging a Sodastream empty for a full bottle is many times the cost of getting a generic gas bottle filled.
Another expensive proprietary item are carbonating bottles needed to use the Sodastream. These plastic bottles typically cost about $10. They are quite nice of course, but contribute to the comparatively high cost.
If one already owns a Sodastream machine, there are multiple ways to convert it to use generic gas. http://co2doctor.com/ sells an adaptor to convert a Paintball bottle for loading in a Sodastream. Note that if you were buying a Sodastream with intent to use this sort of adaptor, you should buy a machine that will take the 130L official bottle as well as the 60L. There are other sources of adaptors on ebay as well, and many places to buy paintball tanks, like the Empire 20oz CO2 Tank, about $19 at Amazon.com
The cost of filling a 20 oz paintball tank locally was about $3.50, at a local sporting goods store. Any paintball facility would be a good alternative for refills. This refill gets you enough gas to carbonate 80-85 liters, and is a quarter of the price ($15) to get a 60 liter Sodastream refill! Sodastream also offers a ridiculous $1 deposit refund if you hand them your empty gas bottle. "Buy" it for $15, give it back for $1. What a deal for them!
Another alternative for even cheaper gas would be a 5 lb, 10 lb, or 20 lb cylinder, typically used in food service. You can buy these new, but finding a nice used one would be much cheaper. These get filled for a few bucks at local welding supply or local home brew store. Amazon sells all the parts you would need for one of these cylinders including an item called "The Carbonator" and a gas line assembly and a dual gauge regulator, about $70 for the three items. The Carbonator fits many standard 2 liter bottles.
Finally, there is an interesting all-in-one product called Fizz Giz, found on Amazon as Fizz Giz Soda Maker II for about $60. This is made by Mike in NC, and utilizes his own injector caps that fit many 2L (and 1L and smaller) bottles. He has a number of homey youtube presentations and provides superb customer support. He also can supply a similar rig to work with the large tanks, and he has an ultra portable unit that uses expensive CO2 bulbs.
See the customer comments for the Soda Maker II, all at Amazon. Also see more info at http://www.fizzgiz.com/ -- see http://www.fizzgiz.com/fizzGiz_order_form.htm for the portable unit and the caps. Also check "Get a free cap" which is will cost you an SASE or a couple of bucks. Send the 2 bucks and get a nice little bottle full of gas via first class mail!
If I was starting over with carbonation I would buy a couple of paintball tanks and the Soda Maker II. If/when my bottle or cap wears out, both are very cheap. One can also carbonate anything compared to Sodastream which strangles users by insisting that one can carbonate only water in their machine. One can also easily use the Fizz Giz cap to re-carbonate soda if desired, so one might buy a 2 liter bottle and gas it up over several days of drinking it.

SkywayUSA
Understanding Skyway USA
Satellite-assisted dialup service
First let us note that the story of SkywayUSA is a bit different from the other stories here. I would not consider it to be a scam or fraud and they definitely don't treat customers like dirt, but as you consider it you will want to determine if it will be useful for your circumstances. Skyway uses a standard modem link for the "up" portion of your internet connection, and a satellite to provide the "down" portion. In theory this is superior to two-way satellite service because the latency can be much better because only one round trip to the satellite (approximately 1/2 second) is required.
The Customer Support appears to be all US based. Good 'ole Kentucky redneck folks with an accent to match. Nothing wrong with that! They generally know their stuff (from my experience) and are some of the friendliest CS people I have dealt with in recent years. WordPerfect they are not, but they are good and a real pleasure to work with.
Equipment and Delivery was all timely and sufficiently complete. As some others have noted, the aiming of the dish is a bit tedious but do-able. Sometimes the beeper would light and sometimes not. I had best success by hauling laptop to the dish and watching the signal while listening to the beeper.
The SW-20 "Modem" is not too shabby. Mine died about a month or two after I got it and was diagnosed and replacement sent. Software shows some signs of flakiness even though it runs Linux. A daily power cycle seems to help it. The device happily serves up an address via DHCP daemon. As long as you don't mind being at 192.168.30.x it is fine. I connected to Lan port in a WRT54G running Tomato and it served up addresses to whatever I connected. Windoze not needed; it just works. If you select "dialup only" though, it seems to be quite an effort to get it back to satellite service. We never figured out an easy way to get the seemingly straightforward task done. Fortunately we didn't dump our regular dialup so we could just use that if this system seemed not to be working. Holding on to another service and regular modem was prudent because if SW-20 is dead you are off the air because it does straight dialup too. We never figured out howto use regular modem to connect to Skyway for regular dialup.
Connectivity. A straight "ping" usually gives response of around 250 ms. This is fairly typical of dialup service, and indeed is done both ways on the wire. If the satellite was in the loop on a ping, it would have to be at least twice that. This shows that the service is capable of routing some downstream traffic back over the wire line. Unfortunately they do not do so where you really need it, like IM traffic. If you are accustomed to sending back and forth 2 or 3 little bitty IM packets a second, this just flat will not cut it. Same thing would be true for any sort of online game using little bits of data that need to be timely delivered. All attempts to use VPN did not work. One kind did work briefly then timed out. Both the thru put and latency mean that VoIP should not even be considered. Typical response to start loading a web page seems to be on the order of 2-5 seconds. Thereafter you do get an accelerated download though.
Speed. Skyway has a few tiers of speed for different prices. Entry level "Bronze" is advertised at 250k. That kilobits, not kilobytes. It translates to a typical 25-30 kB/sec when downloading. This is going to be 5-10x faster than straight dialup. Our dial up never exceeds 24,000 so it is quite a boost when it works.
All RUP'd up. We will leave this for the reader to consider. Skyway enforces a Reasonable Use policy (sometimes called FAP) that throttles user's speed in tiers, from the nominal maximum all the way down to dialup speeds. If you hit the top mark, you have sub-dialup speed plus satellite latency making it the most miserable way ever to connect. Whether setting it to "dialup only" would let you go at full dialup speed I know not; we just went to backup service when it happened. The policy is here: http://www.skywayusa.com/rup.php
Now here are some excerpts from that page:
We've assigned a download threshold for each service plan that limits the amount of data than may be downloaded during a normal day.
The download threshold SkyWay USA has established for each service plan is well above typical usage rates based on our analysis of subscriber usage data.
Subscribers who exceed that threshold will experience reduced download speeds until the begining of the next monthly cycle.
Then we have the numbers:
Bronze RUP
Policy Total Download Download Speed
Level 1 500MB 256K
Level 2 1000MB 192K
Level 3 1500MB 128K
Level 4 2000MB 64K
Level 5 2500MB 32K
Sounds good, no? I think we can live with 500 megs a day. Takes something like 5 hours at advertised speed to do that, right? And the 2500 mB is just flat not achievable unless you get faster than advertised speed. It is only after we hit the policy and make an inquiry that we get informed that the "Total Download" is your threshold for a full month of service! Let me repeat that: Numbers are your allowance for a WHOLE MONTH! Thus your daily allowance is about 16 megs. Something on the order of 15 min worth of 192 kb MP3 files. More than that and you are heading for the RUP.
My friends, if you have no need for any more data than in the RUP table, this service is worth considering. If you want to add some micro$oft "security" patches or download a power point or watch a few youtubes, you will be disappointed.
Conclusion: Not doing this any more. Did my year and refuse to continue. Even if I could get no better, I would still have taken it down in favour of straight plain old dialup. Fortunately I convinced a local wISP to put me in a 900 mHz link. Now for the price of "bronze" skywayusa plus the required POTS line, I have 5x better ping times, 6x better speed, and no stinking UnReasonable Policy (URP). It would appear the only thing to do with skywayusa equipment is to scrap it. I cannot imagine that anyone would want to buy it.

Scams of the 21st Century!
It seems we have increasingly pervasive rot out there in the form of liars, cheats, and confidence gamers.
What happens when a little guy pulls a big one? If he gets caught, he gets thumped.
What happens if you lie to the government? If you get caught, you goto jail. Unless you are Hillary, of course...
What happens when a big guy pulls a little one? Nothing! Read the T-mobile story below for more proof!
When is sex not sex? When a US President says it isn't!
When is cash back not cash? When "American" Express sends you scrip good only at Costco, and says it is cash!
When is a rebate not a rebate? When T-mobile executives order rebate company to reject it and lie about it!
Now we have a "cash rebate" that is neither cash nor a rebate, and a "family owned" company that says it is good and proper.
What is the difference between these scoundrels and the con-game running 409 scamsters?
I would say it is a matter of racketeering. These guys aim to pilfer small amounts where the 409 guys want just a few big pay days.
These guys calculatingly cheat hundreds of victims out of amounts too small to draw much attention.
The Organized part of the Crime makes nickel-and-dime acts yield good money.
Now today, we have a masterful deception. It goes like this:
Cash Rebates from PrepaidOnline.Com!
What is wrong with that you say? Well at GPA, Inc, (http://www.gpa.net) DBA
PrepaidOnline.Com, cash rebates are neither cash nor rebates!
How can that be? First you get a come-on with the offer above. {The BAIT}
Then you have a request for the rebate: "Per the terms of your offer, I have made a qualifying purchase. Order number is xxxxxx. Please send along my Cash Rebate as you have offered in the email."
PPO: Your $5.00 cash rebate has been posted to your account and can be used at anytime! {The SWITCH}
Tszefr: Since you offered the $5 as a Cash Rebate, I presume this is just an error on your part. Credit to my so-called account is neither cash nor a rebate. Such a credit is not what you offered and is therefore unacceptable. Please either mail me the check for $5 or issue the rebate back to my charge card.
PPO: There is no error on our part, we issue a $5.00 rebate in the form of a cash discount credit to a customers account which they can then apply to a future purchase. Because we are the issuer of the promotion, we get to define how it works.
Tszefr: The promo I accepted specified "cash rebate," not "discount credit to a customers account." Your substitution is completely unacceptable. If you had offered "Future Credit" there would be no objection. "Cash rebate" and "future credit" are two completely different things. ... Your offer of account credit or scrip fails this definition too. I do not accept scrip where cash was offered. As previously requested, I expect and demand my cash rebate as described. Convertible to money and usable anywhere, not just in some account that I cannot even get to. ... I executed my end of your deal: I bought and paid for product. Because of your "cash rebate" offer, I spent more than I otherwise would have. Now it is your turn to do what you advertised and issue the five bucks in a form consistent with what you offered. At this point I am growing weary with companies that refuse to make good on their offers. What is it called when you offer one thing and substitute something else? I trust you will take the high road and issue my "cash rebate" in some usable form. Account credit is not what I bought.
PPO: The rebate terms that we offer to all customers including you, stands and will not be changed. Your $5.00 rebate was already been applied to your account...
Finally, we go to see if the alleged "cash rebate" exists. Lo and behold, it isn't even denominated as money but as Points, and usable only when buying more product.
This you see further demonstrates the treacherous behaviour that signifies this seller.
My friends, if you you want to have a Bait & Switch confidence game played on you, by all means do business with these people! But if you expect "cash rebate" to be what is says, any such offer from this outfit is not worth the electrons to get it to you because it is a sham, and they stand by its counterfeit nature!
Sham Sham, a.: False; counterfeit; pretended; feigned; unreal; as, a sham fight.
